The John Rekevics Saxophone Library: 1 CD complete solo sax library: Tenor. All instruments are classic, vintage Selmer Mark VI model played by veteran studio session musician John Rekevics.(see his list of credits in the "Help" PDF document.) Engineering and Gig creation by John Thomas of Bigga Giggas U.S.A.

These are true User playable sample instruments, not "licks" loops. All source recordings were mastered in 24bit and separate Stereo & Mono versions of each instrument are included for every articulation. The Mono versions used tube-mic preamp for extra warmth and punch. Over 30 instrument Presets on each CD and minimum of 500+ megabytes per sax.

All instrument presets are multi-velocity, full envelope, no loops. Every note of the instrument range is sampled, rather than chromatic 3rds or other compromises. Voicings include Smooth 4-Velocity, Vibrato 4-Velocity and 2 velocities each of: Staccato, Sforzando, Growls, Flutters, Falls. Extra voicings include SubTones (breathy sax) on Tenor Sax and "Honks" (beefy long staccatos) on Bari Sax. Also on Bari are ""Ba-rumps" The popular two-note R&B signature bass riff. Ba-rumps include multiple tempos for easy use.

Crossfade Presets provide a change from Smooth to true vibrato samples using the ModWheel. Other special Presets allow a change from Smooth to Growl via ModWheel etc. Keyswitch Presets provide all voicings within a single Preset instrument choice.
