Every note was chosen carefully to give you the most natural sound while achieving low memory usage when loaded into Giga. We've put together a library that gives you expressive samples at a fraction of the cost of other multi-disc libraries. With the Westgate Studios Woodwind Collection you get all the major orchestral woodwinds: Piccolo, Flute, Oboe, English Horn, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, and Bassoon. We've also included Sopranino Recorder, 2 Soprano Recorders, Tin Whistle, and Alto Recorder. All of the samples were recorded for their full natural duration...no loops. Each sustained note is available in up to 4 velocities (Piano, Mezzoforte, Forte, and Fortissimo) The FF samples are something you don't usually find in a woodwind library. We've also included Whole and Half step Trill samples in two velocities. Another unique addition are the inclusion of Forte Piano Crescendos. You'll also find Flutter-tongue samples for the Flute. With this library we've gone the extra step for complete instruments by including extended range samples for Oboe, English Horn, Clarinet and Bass Clarinet that aren't normally included with samples. With the use of the intuitive gig files you can easily switch from sustains to trills with the touch of a key. And use crossfade gigs that allow for smoother transitions between notes using the mod wheel.demosUses most of the fp cresc and trill gigs.
