SPECIAL ORDER Paulo Mattioli Dununs produce a focused bass tone and attack that will be the foundation for any drum ensemble. The rope tuned Paulo Mattioli Dununs are lightweight and are equipped with the NUSKYN™ Type 5 aluminum channel drumhead with Clear Dot sound control producing a focused bass tone and attack that will be the foundation for any drum ensemble. The drums are constructed with Light weight ACOUSTICON™ drum shell material with a METALIZED™ bronze textured finish for added durability with a rustic elegant look. Tuning the drum is made easier with the high strength braided polyester rope. HistoryDununs, The traditional Dununs (phonetic spelling, DO-NOONS) are the family of drums which provide the "SONG" for the djembe orchestra, the kenkeni is the high pitched motor, the sangba is the identifier of the rhythm, playing the signature pattern and the dundumbas are highly syncopated and improvise along with the Djembes in synchrony with the phrases of the music/dance to create crescendos.
