The MAXPAC is a complete "Studio-in-a-box" bundled system solution. The foundation is the NiagaraMAX (# 96-01052). This dual channel analog and digital model (1 - Osprey 220 card, plus, 1 Osprey 2000 DV Pro) accepts Composite video (BNC), S-Video, DV (via IEEE 1394), SDI (SMTPE-259M) video with embedded SDI audio, unbalanced stereo audio, balanced stereo audio (XLR), professional digital audio (AES/EBU). Analog Composite and S-Video video plus unbalanced stereo audio are available for outputs when used for MPEG decoding. Audio loopback/monitoring capabilities are provided via unbalanced RCA audio output. Osprey SimuIStream feature supports multiple concurrent streams of RealNetworks Real Video and Microsoft Windows Media at variable bit rates. Pentium 4 processor, exceptional 17" DFP display (1280 x 1024), CD-RW, plus full-size keyboard w/Logitech mouse, 10/100 Mbit Ethernet LAN. Also, Windows 2000 Pro, ReaIProducer Plus V.8.5, and Windows Media Encoder 7.1. Exclusive Niagara SCX remote encoder management and control software for monitoring and control of multiple, remote or distributed streaming encoders throughout an enterprise or across the Internet (see detailed product description under "Niagara Software"); Breakout cables included with the Osprey 220 and Osprey 2000 DV Pro.
