The M1.5 is a fairly "punchy" monitor with an incredible bass response mainly suited to popular music tracking and mixing, voice and dialog recording, and as L, C, R monitors in high performance surround monitoring systems.

Mounted either in the nearfield on top of a console or in midfield just behind the console on suitable stands, it can easily fulfill the majority of monitoring needs. Flush mounting is also an option when careful attention is paid to room design, construction and acoustic treatment.

All drivers designed, manufactured and rigorously tested at Dynaudio. LF Driver utilizes a one-piece molded polypropylene cone and an oversized aluminum wire voicecoil Softdome tweeters utilizing pure aluminum is another Dynaudio trademark and a factor behind the Dynamic linearity which Dynaudio monitors has become renowned for.
