MIDI Patch Bay Interconnects 10 MIDI devices using mono jack patch cords,
very fast THRU on patchbay, takes power from MIDI. Fast Clear Easy Patching Audio Patchbays have been around for many years - most studios use them. DACS' MIDI Patchbay takes this idea and translates it into MIDI data routing. MIDI devices are connected at the rear of the panel and are routed using jack patch cords on the front panel. The unit, like an audio patchbay, has a full and half normalizing facility. The rear of the unit has 10 pairs of MIDI sockets going to device INs and OUTs. The front panel has 10 blocks of 4 jacks sockets; 2 Outs on the top row, 1 IN and a very fast built in THRU below. Active circuitry, powered from MIDI, buffers the input data and output data, making for reliable transmission. There is an optional power inlet.
