dCS 974 Digital to Digital

Universal sample rate and format converter converting sampling frequencies from 11.025 to 192 kHz and DSD. Syncs to AES, SPDIF and SDIF-2 digital inputs and outputs.

The dCS 972 and the dCS 974 are very high performance and highly versatile sample rate and format converters. They cover input and output sample rates from 11.025 to 192kS/s with word lengths up to 24 bits and conversion between SPDIF (IEC958), AES, Dual AES and SPDIF-2 formats. Other features include word length adjustment, noise shaping, dithering, gain/balance adjustment, bit activity indication, level meters, error monitoring, AES and SPDIF message editing, pcm to Sony DSD conversion and a precision 24 bit digital signal generator. The extensive use of FPGAs facilitates easy performance enhancements.
