Classic Custom David Gilmour / DG-103 Signature Head, Red

Faithfully delivers classic 70's era Hiwatt tones. Exceptionally responsive to playing dynamics. Excelent build quality...cannot recommend this tone moster highly enough. - Guitar Player

Based on the Custom 100 head, but with special modifications as commissioned by one of the most well-known Hiwatt users himself, the DG-103 adds a bit of modern sophistication to the classic performance amplifier. In addition to the Bass, Treble, Presence and Master Volume controls, the DG-103 uses a specially linked input system, where the gain of each channel can be altered to suit different musical styles. Built using Partridge transformers, 4 x ECC-83 tubes in the preamp section, 4 x EL-34 tubes in the power stage, and is rated at 100 watts output, with switchable 4, 8 & 16 ohms impedance.

Now Available in 50 watt version, DG-504.

Boasting the classic design that brought HIWATT to the forefront of amplification, the Classic Series feature the point-to-point, military specific design based on Dave Reeves' original amplifiers. HIWATT Custom amplifiers use only the best quality components, including hand-wound Partridge transformers and marine birch hand-built cabinets. All Classic Series products are available in Black, White and Red.
