Multi-Function MIDI Event Generator

The MIDI Solutions Footswitch Controller provides a 1/4" mono phone jack input for connection to a footswitch or other momentary contact which can be used to trigger MIDI events. Triggered events are merged with incoming MIDI data and sent to the MIDI output of the Footswitch Controller. Event types are programmable and include Note, Controller, Pitch Bend, Program Change, Start/Stop, and System Exclusive messages (up to 20 bytes/System Exclusive message). Two units may be configured to operate together as Program Change INC/DEC devices. Other functions available include MIDI Channelize, Note Transpose, and Tempo Thp. MIDI Echo and Footswitch Toggle parameters are selectable on/off. Footswitch polarity is determined automatically on power-up.
