Phillip Keveren

A multi-talented keyboard artist and composer, Phillip Keveren has four recordings for piano and orchestra to his credit. All display Mr. Keveren's matchless chamber-pop style with its ability to recreate life's most intimate moments. Christmas Collage (Soundsage) evokes the holiday comforts of home while Introspection (Soundsage), Romantique (Simplicity) and Reminiscence (Simplicity) call up moments of unexpected romance or playful joy.

Mr. Keveren made his Carnegie Hall debut with the New York Pops Orchestra as guest soloist with Skitch Henderson and has also performed as soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. A pioneer in the field of MIDI arranging and orchestrating, he has created many piano solo and piano with MIDI orchestra recordings for Yamaha's Software Library.

Mr. Keveren has composed music in diverse styles that range from commercial (Miss America 1992 theme "Straight To the Top" with fellow Yamaha artist Jason Nyberg) to many sacred piano, organ, instrumental solo and choral compositions. His composing and arranging credits are also numerous in the Hal Leonard Educational Piano Library.
