Finally, a simple yet powerful sound editing tool created for use with multimedia presentations. You can record directly into the computer, edit the recordings using cut, copy, and paste commands, add echo, change the pitch, fade in and fade out, and much more. You can mix most sound files and formats together with up to 20 tracks available. The simple to use interface is ideal for the novice computer user and the included features are enough to keep even the expert users interested.

Do you need to convert files to another platform? Now you can convert your Macintosh sound files (AIFF, System 7, AU) to Windows WAV format with a simple click of a button. You can also convert your Windows WAV files to AIFF and System 7 Macintosh files.

Sound Companion is the new standard in recording and editing sound for use withmultimedia presentations created with HyperStudio, Power Point, mPower, Digital Chisel,and ClarisWorks. Students can record directly into the computer, edit their recordingsusing cut, copy, and paste commands, add echo, change the pitch, fade in and fadeout, and much more. The most unique feature of Sound Companion is that it allowsthe user to mix multiple sound files into one recording. Students can add music tothe background of any presentation or mix multiple music and sound files together.The creative possibilities are endless!

The Sound Companion demo is a full running copy of the program which has the "save"feature disabled. The demo will allow you to experience all of the features of theprogram, including editing features, opening and editing existing sound files, and much more!.

A District License is defined as four or more schools purchasing a site licenseof the same product. We have two different pricing options for district purchasesof Sound Companion for HyperStudio..

OPTION ONE - Districts can takea 20% discount off of the Unlimited Site License price, brining the per site costdown to $639.96. This option includes student take home privileges.

OPTION TWO - With a minimum of a 200 computer installation throughout the district,you can purchase a district license at a cost of $22 per computer.
