EarMaster Pro 4.0
A fine tuned ear and sense of rhythm and harmony
are essential when playing any instrument.
EarMaster is an effective and fun way to use the
computer for ear training. It has been developed in
co-operation with leading ear training teachers.
Simple and challenging exercises drill and score you
in all the harmonic and rhythmic ear training areas
you need.
|
Many exercise areas:
- Interval comparison
- Interval identification
- Scale identification
- Chord identification
- Chord progressions
- Rhythm imitation
- Rhythm reading
- Rhythm correction
- Melodic dictation
For beginners and professionals
EarMaster is designed
to be very flexible.
Beginners can use the
the built-in personal
ear training tutor. The
tutor will lead you
through a variety of
graded exercises and
will challenge you according
to your skills.
Advanced users can use
the advanced exercise
setup. Each exercise
can be configured exactly
as you want it. You
can even define new
chords and scales if
you have special needs.
This flexibility makes EarMaster
the perfect choice
for you, whether you
arc a musician, music student,
or are studying for
music education entrance
exam.
Monitor your results
All of your results are
recorded in detail in
a database for later
review and printout. You
can, for example, review
how well you have identified the
minor 7th chord within
the past 2 weeks. Using
a floppy disk, you can easily
transfer your results
to your school or teachers
computer (if EarMaster
School is installed on
it) and bring new assignments
back for homework.
EarMaster provides a variety of ways
to study and practice.
In harmonic exercises, you can:
- Choose the answer from the list e.g. Mi7
- Transcribe the tones on the notesheet
- Play the tones on the on-screen piano
- Play the tones on the on-screen guitar
- Play the tones on your MIDI-instrument
- Sing the tones in the microphone
In the rhytmic exercises you can also keep
the rhythm in different ways:
- Tap it on the spacebar
- Clap it in the microphone
- Play it on your MIDI-instrument
