The MAESTRO Instructional Video Series is designed to give you an overview of important information about your new instrument and to show you the various skills you will need to develop as you learn to play.
These instructional tapes and booklet are in no way intended to take the place of a Band or Orchestra Director, private teacher or method book. Our intention is to help aspiring students and other beginners to get a good start and establish a solid foundation for study. These videos can be used along with classroom studies and private lessons.

Your teacher for the “MAESTRO" VIOLIN Instructional is BILL SCUITT. Bill earned Bachelor of Music Degree from the College-Conservatory of Music, University at Cincinnati in 1950. He received his Master of Music Degree from the University of Illinois in 1953. Bill has a very dis- tinguished career as an educator, teaching in the Kentucky, Illinois and Ohio School systems from 1950 through 1988. He has been a Private Teacher for over 45 years and many of his students have won scholarship and other awards. As a performer, Bill held the first Violin seat with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra from 1953-1980. His Virtuoso Performances span the spectrum from Symphony Orchestras, to Chamber Music Programs and various Church Performances. Bill is dedicated to Music Education and is an Active member of the Ohio Music Educators Assoc., Music Educators National Conference, National School Orchestra Assoc., and the American String Teachers Assoc.
Remember, the key to success in anything that you do is to keep at it and never give up. Only practice will improve your playing skills.
