Viewcast's exclusive Niagara SCX software offers robust monitoring and control of multiple, remote, or distributed streaming encoder: throughout an enterprise or across the Internet. Through a single, unified user interface Niagara SCX eliminates running multiple encoders on a machine and supports RealNetworks and Microsoft Windows Media in a consistent model. Users get a concurrent viev of virtually unlimited encoders and have full control of encoding parameters and encoding modes such as; video/audio card and input selection, video resolution and format, video/audio attributes, encoded bit rate, stream destination and port. SCX also features the ability to video preview (either before or after encoding), and encoder statistics monitoring such as frame rate, bit rate and CPU load. f software vectorscope / waveform monitor preview is also included. Niagara SCX is ideal for CDN's, ISP's, Radio & TV stations, and any other user who wants a common interface for Real and Windows Media or who runs multiple encoder systems. One copy of SCX is required per encoding system.
