New Tracks Window: There's a "new look" Tracks window that's sure to become your favourite workspace. The track overview window - audio waveform or MIDI "piano roll" - gives you direct, convenient access to each track. Colorful new instrument icons identify the tracks for easy recognition, and you can access all of your track settings here, including the built-in DirectX effects and your DXi softsynths. PowerTracks Pro Audio 9 even has preset effects for the most common types of audio tracks, or you can make your own presets and link them to custom user track icons. You could show the singer's picture on the vocal track, and automatically load their custom preset effects group along with the track icon.

Harmonize Your Audio: PowerTracks Pro Audio 9 can automatically generate harmony parts from an audio track (such as a vocal track) using the industry leading TC-Helicon technology to generate up to 4 harmony parts from any solo audio track, vocal or instrumental. There are three different harmony modes.

You can choose Chordal Harmony mode, which uses the song's chord symbols to determine harmony parts. Or you can tell PowerTracks Pro Audio to generate multi-part harmonies based on multiple MIDI tracks in the song. There is also a Melody Pitch Tracking mode that is useful for pitch correction, changing audio notes, or for automatic double tracking.
