Then move the violinist to a different hall. or farther away from you. or into a dry room to add your own ambience. You can do this - or at least, you can create an amazingly realistic simulation - with GigaViolin.
We started with "bodyless" electric violin and created samples of the violin being bowed, plucked and struck. Then, using our GigaPulse convolution technology, we modeled an assortment of violin bodies. We added GigaPulse convolution reverb and. Voila! A virtual violin library - which works both as a GigaStudio 3 library for current Giga users and as a Windows VSTi/RTAS plug-in library - as real as any violin you've ever heard. or imagined.
