The Pearl OM 16 is an omni directional microphone that is unusually small, and its transformerless circuit design requires 48 volt phantom power. The Pearl OM 16 has a very flat frequency response with a boost from 5kHz to 12kHz of 3dB at 8kHz. The OM 16 typifies the large Pearl family of microphones as the sound is very natural and uncolored which makes it an excellent choice for recording all types of music.
