Dual Precision-Balanced Armature Drivers with Crossover Network
The rich, full-spectrum sound of the IE-30 reference earphones owes much to the use of two separate high-definition, precision-balanced armature drivers for high/mid and bass frequencies. Armature drivers—the same technology used in premium custom earphones—delivers high efficiency, extended high frequencies and superb natural bass and are significantly smaller and more accurate than comparable dynamic drivers. The IE-30 audio crossover network routes each frequency of your music to the driver that can best reproduce it—exactly the same principle as used in the finest studio and audiophile monitor design. Patented dual-bore technology rounds out the equation by providing separate acoustic canals for each driver’s output to deliver a wider sound stage and much fuller sound.
